In 2015 she completed her PhD in Artistic Research at Bauhaus University, Weimar, Germany (2015). In her work she focuses on self-organised initiatives and alternative ways of living and working related to architecture and urban planning. Over the last few years she has focused on the relationship between the urban and the rural. Her approach is interdisciplinary and combines knowledge from architecture, visual arts, urban planning and social sciences. Together with KUD Obrat she initiated a long-term project, a community garden\u00a0<em>Beyond a Construction Site<\/em>\u00a0in Ljubljana (2010-present).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Among her most important projects are:\u00a0<em>Movement for Public Speech <\/em>(2015 \u2013 ongoing), Dynamo projects (2009 \u2013 2011), <em>Inventions for an independent living<\/em> (2002 \u2013 ongoing) and a collaborative project <em>Beyond a Construction Site<\/em> in Ljubljana. She has exhibited on solo shows and numerous group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.\u00a0 Lov\u0161in has also received numerous awards, scholarships and residencies, such as four-year production support from the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia (2010-2013), the\u00a0<em>Zlata Ptica<\/em>\u00a0award for visual and media art achievements in Slovenia (2010), an art residency at the Wysing Arts Centre in Cambridge, UK (2009), and an Artslink residency in New York\/San Francisco, U.S.A.
